I wasn't at the game. Did the Upperman players play on a wet field? If so I wonder if it affected their footing as well. It sounds like from your posts that your team is the only one that had to deal with the elements. Come on.

Just worry about your owls sucking owlfan

I just asked a simple question. No answer?

I can confirm, it was wet on both sides of the field.  Upperman stats 2/3 passing for 43 yards, 29 carries for 311 yards averaging 10.7 yards per carry.  Sequatchie stats aren't loaded in Maxprep yet, so I don't know how they compare.  Before the game, the edge was being given to Sequatchie due to the wet field impacting the UHS passing game.  That was the case - this was the fewest attempted passes by the team all season.  Both teams were solid with coaches making decisions based on the weather and their players' strengths.  Both teams had offensive players slipping down and defensive players who weren't able to make cuts when trying to make tackles.  Hoping it's dry for Week One playoff games and everyone is healed and ready to go.

Thank you in every post he states that they slipped. Do you think UHS has magic cleats. They slipped as well. UHS only passed the ball twice both completed for 55 yards. SC threw because they were desperate and could not get any big plays running the ball. They had one drive that was over 20 plays long which was great for them but stopped on 4th down. UHS defense after 20+ plays still has the heart to stop them. He also thinks if this would be different and that different blah blah blah. It came down to this. UHS could stop there running game and SC could not stop UHS. I think UHS punted once. Heck SC had players actually shoving each other on the field because they were mad. One kid was first through the line at end of the game and flat refused to shake hands with any UHS players. SC always plays hard but that lack of sportsmanship is as common as their hard play.  Good luck to all in the playoffs.

The rain would actually be much more detrimental to Upperman due to their speed advantage. As far as sportsmanship goes you can look through my posts to see that this isn't the first time for that situation with that team.

Good luck to Upperman. They killed the team I root for but I was really impressed with them both during and after the game. I hope they can advance in the playoffs and get a shot at Alcoa.

Every team in this region has poor sportsmanship. So don’t go saying Sequatchie has poor sportsmanship. York, upperman Smith and cannon teams are the worst we’ve ever played. Heck even when we play Bledsoe a big rival game it’s still a good sportsmanship game. Never seen players and chain gang people taunt our fans as much as this region does. I wish someone would’ve knocked #5 on his butt for upperman for taunting the fans. Just cause everyone was yelling at the refs for a poor call on the ball being spotted and not calling the horse collar don’t give him any right to taunt the fans. Owl fan your just mad cause you’ve lost to Sequatchie 3 strait years. Reason I say the wet field hurt us running is cause we’d go to cut and slip and fall, never once seen upperman go to cut and fall. #4 and #5 and #1 for Sequatchie if they get lose you won’t catch them. They just couldn’t get it going Friday night. And every parent there said the same thing I’m saying.

This guy is nuts. Hill trolls would win every game if it wasn't for referees and bad field conditions. If I'm not mistaken they have won  just one of the last 4 in this series. Probably butt hurt because their coach moved on to better things at uhs. Wasn't too long ago he led them to a great season. Parents like this guy is probably why he left. Go find another post SC. I would like to hear a little about Loudon County.

Should be a a good game with Loudon, especially since they got a few starters back. I haven’t seen them play so I have no idea what they got

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..

    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
