Red Rebels
Didn't Nebuchadnezzar throw Shadroach, Meshroach, and Abedneroach into the fiery furnace?

BarneySox2007
I wonder why they didn't have a benefit yard sale this year at William Blount for the football team, I enjoyed last years sale.
BarneySox2007
Correct me if I'm wrong but it sure looks like one end of that rainbow comes down over at Alcoa and the other side at Maryville where the Gold Football's are.

Just one sided but they have a lot of seating, the stadium is 100 yards long. I always set on the top row to get a good whiff of those great hamburgers they make just as your going into the gate. It's a great place to go see a ballgame. They also have a really nice press box also. Edited May 22, 2019 by BarneySox2007

We have a few in middle Tennessee and I never understood why.

The only mountain you can clearly see from here is the mountain of trash at the nearby county landfill. The one sided stadiums were very popular at one time when they were building these mega high schools My biggest issue today are the ones with tracks and soccer fields which take you farther away from the action. Preach!! That is one reason why others and myself love Gallatin’s stadium. No track and built specifically for football. You are right on top of the players and action. Home and away sides are large and having played on the field for over 100 years, you can feel the ghosts of players from long before talking to ya!
Red Rebels
William Blount and it's twin, Heritage, are high and steep enough that you can see really well at both stadiums. I never liked the one sided stadiums. They put up few of those when "consolidation" was the thing to do in the mid to late 1970's. It's like having uninvited guests sitting in your living room. I hate it for the home team when the Rebels show up. I need to make a list of trackless stadiums. 1. Gallatin, 2. Maryville, 3. Alcoa ...

I may take a trip to Gallatin after next year to watch a game there. Sounds like my kinda place. I dated a girl from Dickson County when I was in college, when Dickson beat Gallatin in the playoffs in '88 (?), she couldn't believe it. Apparently you guys put them out of the playoffs almost every year. I think DC won state that year.
