Round 2: Oneida @ South Greene

There was a member on Gordonsville's chain gang giving instructions and letting Tiger players know where and when the ball was in play on our snaps.

They are kept on side away from home side where filming is done, so yes, SG moved away from the home side in the 80's, so thats why they are on that side.

We had that happen one year and us fence riders brought it to the coach and the refs stopped it changed the crew out!!

Gotcha, I've never been to SG. I've been to WG a couple of times. 

This has nothing to do with our game but why would a team move away from the home side of their home field?

I think it may have been an angry parent that finally made the team move.

There's more to it than that. It was a huge ordeal. And over time it was more than just one parent. I guess the last time was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak.

Since we got a new coach this year, that was actually a question brought up to Coach Verran. Several parents wanted to move the team to the home sideline. He wanted to leave things the way they were.  I guess he was more focused on trying to get to know the kids and installing a new offense. Lots of mind set changes too.  Who knows maybe we can begin new traditions. I vote for a train whistle. Lol
