Hate that he was fighting this health issue,but it shouldn't get him a free pass. Alot of the issues were created by him and coach Josh, mainly Josh. How does different rules for different kids make them soft. Maybe he should have played his best 11 the last couple of years and he wouldn't have been so dissapointed

I wouldn't second guess another coach but I do agree with your assessment about the best 11 players needing to be on the field.  Small division school teams typically can't platoon offense and defense in the same way larger programs can.  There are some small programs like Martin Westview that carry 50+ on the roster, but they are the exception to the rule.

Waiting to hear what positions will be available. I'm hearing several have applied. This may drag out into the Spring.

You got any names old charger. They sure are tight lipped around here. Have tried to ask some of the in clique folks, but they will drop their heads mumble and walk away. Any names to be exited about.

I don’t know anything about Tellico but I don’t think Martin is a fair comparison. Tellico is 1A and Martin is a 3A school. Of course they will have a much larger roster.

Tellico is 2a if I’m not mistaken.

May be right. If that is the case my mistake. Martin is a small 3A school close to being 2A. May be a fair comparison after all.

I have not heard any names. All I know is there have been several applicants. There just aren't many teaching positions open right now.

You don’t have to be a teacher to coach.

Sure don't, but that is what was shared with me when asked about the hold up.

Does one of the assistant coaches want the job? You would think one of them would be considered as the head coach instead of an outsider.
