Cats win!!!!  I was there and play calling by  Tullahoma was terrible,  the athletes for Tullahoma pulled this one out!  You can’t win coin toss then run up middle 3 straight times for 2 yards and then do basically same thing on second drive.  Plus after Tullahoma goes up by a touchdown ,defense holds, 2 minutes left in half, 2 timeouts, and we are content running clock out????that is the stuff butch jones did a TN....when you have a team down you got to keep them down.  Defense played really well again!!!!Way to go Team.

Marshall Co wins this go round. Give me Coach O in these types of games. I have been calling a Marshall-Nolensville quarterfinal match up for a month. Go get them Tigers!!!

Well at least you were right about the best coached teams winning, Broome and Olive!!!

I believe Tullahoma has a hard time matching up with maple wood especially if Burke’s and corn can’t play   I know it was 1 touchdown difference last time. I was at that game and  maple woods defense smothered the cats   Some people will say it was play calling but all plays works if everyone executes right.   Maybe the cats can pull one out of their hat but maple wood is tough.  Go cats

Should be a good game again but whoever does advance is just prolonging the season one more week til the mighty Greendevils and it's onto basketball season then for either maplewood or Tully. Still great seasons to both thou

Does the Greendevils travel to the winner of Maplewood & Tullahoma?

If you think that you need to drop your head off at Vandy's psych ward for evaluation. Coach O is a far superior coach. Not many HS teams could lose a 3 year starter at QB right before the season, revamp their offense and be competitive all season along against a tough schedule.

Like another poster said, give Osteen and his staff all that talent and it's over.

  • Thanks 1

    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
    • He won first at maryville so he did something right
