Rebels defense was awesome last night. Especially the 2nd half. Both quarterbacks played well. Great team win. Farragut was tough. 15 impressed me a lot.

Kyle Carter #15 is a throwback. He reminds me of a Tom Rathman or Moose Johnstone type player. Congratulations on another semifinal berth.

Farragut moved the ball really well in the first half but credit to Maryville’s D in that they were able to come up with plays at just the right times to keep Farragut from finishing drives with points.  That plus the early turnover in the 2nd half really sealed the Admirals’ fate.  Maryville’ offense is really good too.  Congrats to Maryville.  Still proud of the Ads for a really great season.  While we’re not as good as Maryville, we are at least the 2nd best team in the East.

I don't know how many carries Carter had , but if I was the Coach he would of had twice as many as he did . Admirals had a 3rd and one and QB kept the ball , they went for it on 4th and one and then everyone knew #15 would get the ball , so we stopped him , if they had handed off to him on 3rd down he would of easily got the first down . Farragut has a really good Offense , but #15 is Special and almost impossible to wrap up and for one person bring down , he made Farragut a Tough team .

    • Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart.
    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
