Went back and looked at last years thread, same ole bold predictions from stangs, and after the game the excuses flowed , Hats off cb 10 for quoting each one on the misguided attempts to owning the gold ball,  I know, you did it to us after 4 th round lol, so stangs want to know why everyone gives them a hard time, it’s all in the history, oh , and they overlooked lc last year and on multiple occasions said the dawgs would run the clock on lc by second d half, so keep on looking at that self-claimed gold ball, and the dawgs gonna whip the ponies again,  you win, great , you lose, well next year it will be even worse on the stang fans that claim they are unbeatable, note to self, bump the quotes if necessary ....still no prediction from me just yet, need more one liners to motivate me

Could be the “Greatest Show on Turf” in only a few short days. If you’re traveling to the game, I suggest you eat at Mallard’s, The Cornerstone Eatery, Praters Taters, Block City, or Mi Pueblito. Hoping for a good week of preparation and sharpening for both teams. Safe travels to the Bulldog fans

Man this hit 10 pages quick, I'll never be able to keep up this week! I keep kicking this game around in my mind and can't come up with a clear advantage for either team. I will say WC was playing much better ball tonight than when they played Huntingdon, they've got better as the year went along. I read earlier in this thread that someone called HHS the kings of smash mouth football, or something like that anyway, but I'll call it like this as WC has played hhs every year now for four years and they don't play smash mouth football, Cville will be the most physical team that hhs has seen this year by far, they were the most physical that WC had seen. Huntingdon just overloads one side and let's the speed take over and it's hard to stop but not sure how they'll react when Cville starts hitting them like they've never been hit before.

I don't think the Mustangs have forgotten last years double OT loss to the Bulldogs. No surprises!

It’s funny that you have a few Huntingdon posters that are arragant and  stupid, you have a few that play alone with the BS,and then you have some not even from Huntingdon making them sound unbeatable and then you get on here and make it sound like it’s just Huntingdon posters. You must be a Democrat

Im sure you are a great guy, nice post. But from the talk from Huntingdon fans.Cornersville fans may not feel welcome or comfortable there. They are like us.Proud small communities. They may feel like these places are too good for them.Just like the football team is

One more thing. If Huntingdon taking it on themselves to go out and raise money to upgrade the facility is a bad thing then thats crazy. Just because everybody can’t do that does no make it wrong. I’m off my soapbox. Thanks

    • The winds of change are blowing in Hartsville.     Will be an interesting follow.    Would go back to the 90s and turn black the clock!
    • Did he promise you a coordinator job or something if he ever got a head coaching job? He resigned? He was at the top of the dugout last night calling plays. I wonder if those 30+ parents would let him give their kids a ride. by the way the board meeting was last night and it was not mentioned. must have been at the work session earlier this week which is not public. must be trying to keep it quiet.  Since you know so much, how much is Robbie Atwood willing to pay Adam Cothron?  Didn't you slander Eden earlier on here? You also didn't know he was a faculty coach again so how much do you really know? Some people outside this county baffle me with their need to slander others.
    • He resigned smh, and have you ever heard of charged but not convicted. Some people in this county baffle me with their need to slander others. Have you asked any of the 30+ parents that signed a petition to get him reinstated at the board meeting this week how they feel about this? Just let it play out, at the end of the day the only people that will bring TC back are the ones that know what its about at its core.    People hate losing and they aren't used to it at TC. I for 1, and I'm sure others too, understand having a dip in talent and not being able to compete for a state title every year. But in the past, TC teams have outworked more talented teams, they didn't continuously lose the turnover battle, they didn't commit 8+ penalties in several games each season, and I believe several of the folks in town that want Blake out feel as if he is neglecting the history of the program. This is from a source that used to be extremely close to the program (not me lol), Blake gets out of school midday and the players show up and there is no practice plan or itinerary.  I also understand those that are on team Blake, when he has loads of talent, he wins. He does know football and he is a tremendous DC, and if the rumors are true then he will do great things. As for the board member issue, it is what it is, everyone that's true to the county know that and nothing has changed. I agree though that they should strive to make the facilities as good as we can. And as far as potential candidates, I agree there is very few options. West, Vetetoe (yes I know), and couple others that could have some interest. Whatever happens is massive for the program during a pivotal time before the next big wave of stars make their way through.
