I’d have to agree with you on both of those points. The play on the goal line should have been a safety no doubt. And they did get quite a favorable spot on the 4th and 1. I didn’t realize it was the same official on both of those however, interesting. But like you said, it doesn’t matter at this point. On to the next one!

From all that I heard about it, this was a great game.  Too bad that anyone had to lose.  Mt. Juliet showed that they are a team that everyone should respect.  After they throttled Blackman, and battled Oakland to a close game, I think it is safe to say they were underrated this year.

I think Mt Juliet earned that respect they've been looking for this year . Blowing out Blackman and Playing Oakland down to the wire is some Dang good Football !

I agree. I was one that thought hey were overrated, when in reality they were pretty dang good.

MJ was the truth this season. In a year of just slightly less daunting competition (like last year) they would have been a legit threat to hoist a gold ball.

NO, because they would be the one playing Maryville next Friday.  That would let them know what the NEXT LEVEL of competition is like.  It is MUCH rougher that they have faced so far.

I’ll take your word for it. I’m not familiar enough with the 6A teams year to year to really know. My point was simply that MJ was legit this year.
