Still Golden baby, better than ever. Brentwood or Ravenwood aren't that impressive to me. Both teams struggled vs some bad teams in the regular season. Comfortable win for either Gtown or  the Haven.

Something we can agree on! Gtown and Haven both roll no matter who is opposite them. That game might as well be a semi final. No disrespect to Bwood or Rwood, both solid teams...just not quite there yet.

Obscure fact: Admiral David Farragut never lived in Farragut.

Mt. Juliet looks like a real nice venue. I like the fact that someone in Wilson County Schools was able to build a new football stadium without a track around it.

You can thank the living legends Mel Brown and Roger Perry for that one!

Most of these new schools for the last 40 years have used the cookie cutter track/stadium/football field model. It looks cool on the pretty pictures they show at the school board meetings, but it puts the stands too far away from the action. That track works just as well around the practice field or soccer pitch. Well done MJ.

Can confirm, it's a great place to watch a game

Ok, its Thursday...

What a great atmosphere this is going to be, but I think that the Patriots come out and hit MJ with the "Rutherford Co. Gas" as I like to refer to it. Its the same kind of momentum that Riverdale hit them with in the first round last year when #11 went for the house call early in the game. Last week Blackman came out with the same kind of fury it seemed but the Bears weathered the early storm and it settled back down. I do not see the Bears being able to overcome the opening shots sent by Oakland. There will be big plays early on by the Pats and the Bears will be chasing them for the rest of the night. CKC and staff will stay one step ahead of CTP and his staff all night long... In the end it will have been a good season for the Bears, but Oakland will move on easily to get a rematch with the Rebels.

Oakland - 31

Mt.Juliet - 14

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
