You're probably right, but don't count out 3 just yet. The season is long and you just never know how things will pan out. Besides Bearden, who IMO is the clear cut favorite when fully healthy, I think OR, Powell, and maybe even a few others can play with anybody else in 4. When Booker finally gets fully up to speed he will make us a lot better. We still have a lot of room for improvement and I am sure Powell does too. Should be fun.

Definitely will be fun. Just feels like everyone is chasing Bearden and Maryville. The Rebels are making a very strong case in district 4, and they aren't at full strength.

No that’s not correct. Usually at this point in the season everyone has played seven district games or everyone once. Right now here’s how it looks:

1) Central 5-1

Hasn’t played Oak Ridge

1) Oak Ridge 3-1

Hasn’t played Clinton, Central, & Powell

2) AC 5-2

Has played everyone once

2) Powell 4-2

Hasn’t played at Oak Ridge

2) Clinton 3-2

hasn’t played Oak Ridge or Campbell County

6) Karns 3-4

has played everyone once

7) Halls 1-6

has played everyone once

8) Campbell Co 0-6

haant played Clinton

OR goes 2-1 in the Next Level basketball tourney @ CPA. They just beat a very good Brentwood Academy team 66-65. Great showing for the Cats over these last few days. How in the he** did we lose to Anderson County? Lol

I watched some of the OR games vs Whitehaven and Brentwood Academy in-line. Wildcats looked very good. They can really shoot it this year.

As for the loss to Anderson County- inexplicable is all I can say.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
