Warren County denied

They requested a move to Class 5A, from 6A (despite being a very large school) but the TSSAA Board of Control said no. I didn't see any specifics on their request.

It would NOT have helped.  Most 5A schools would whip their butts also!  In fact most good 4a schools would also.

The size of their opposition school is NOT the problem!  The problem is ADMINISTRATION and Coaching.  Mostly administration.

That proposal was an absolute  waste of time. There is no way they would approve that. Can you imagine the Pandora's box that would have  opened. Every school would then want to sandbag in a smaller division. Kind of like men's softball.

But both helps.  See what Kerr was able to accomplish at Union County.  It can be done.  Warren County just doesn't want it to happen.

Kids like football, they just don't like playing with no hope of being successful.  Administration is not giving them a chance with the coaching.

why did Warren Co not request a non-region schedule like white co did?

Their request was turned down by a vote of 2/3's by the T$$AA.
