Where is the Van Buren County HIGH AD to run his mouth about this?

Let them play a non region schedule, but we get to pick the opponents. After watching Whitwell on video, they would be the first team on my list. Off the top of my head I'd let them play:

Whitwell

South Pittsburg

Marion County

Trousdale County

Upperman

Greenback

Meigs County

Gordonsville

Watertown

Oliver Springs

Since Van Buren doesn't field a football team are they eligible to come down off the mountain and play with us?

Half would be at home. I tried to pick 1A and 2A teams that were close.

If Van Buren filed the proper paperwork for a co-op then it is possible.

I would do it the other way around. I would  send my players to Van Buren and play in a lower class.

When you enter a co-op agreement you forfeit the right to have your own team for a period of 5 years. you can't just decide to not play one year and co-op and then take your team back the next year.

Basically if you tried that you are telling the next 5 classes minimum that you are not playing for your school. Plus I doubt they would allow it. The fact that Van Buren has no field/stadium and probably 200 kids would  be a red flag for sure.
