Haywood is peaking at the right time and “IF” the team that played Dyersburg last week shows up this week it will not be close. The question is can they keep the same focus or will there be a let down. With it being semis and after last year I doubt it.  Haywood is senior heavy .

Looking at Jackson Christian on Google Earth, it looks like parking will be at a premium if as many fans come as some are saying. Can any of you Haywood fans add anything we should know since you guys have played there before?

It’s surrounded by trees that’s bout it lol

I respect your opinion and understand you picking them to win but I disagree with you saying it will not be close, everything looked exactly the same last year at this time as well, in fact we were not playing as good last year as we are now, I honestly see a pretty good game Friday night, especially if both teams put forth their best effort.....

Parking will be a big challenge. I've had to park 3 lots away for a middle school game. They may even have to arrange a shuttle from Union or something or cars will be parked a mile up Country Club Lane. They have a reasonable amount of seating for a small school but "standing room only" will be an understatement for a game of this magnitude. With all the local teams already eliminated, the opening of duck season may be the only thing that thins the walk-up crowd. Best of luck to both teams. Haywood seems to finally be living up to some of their lofty preseason hype and that duo of RBs will be hard to contain on turf.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
