We ready...Don't bring up other sports because the only one you have a chance in is football lol. One day your going to get humbled probably by the Tssaa. We all know Rankin left riverdale because he couldn't bring in outside talent anymore there. Wonder why he landed at Alcoa? Didn't see him dominating like that at Smith county. No he and your program wouldn't be where it is without out of county talent. Everyone in the state knows it. So blah blah all you want. If you had to work with the talent in the radius of your school you would be just like everyone else. Word on the street is it might happen sooner than later 8)

You need to come see our youth programs which are on the same page, then if that don't satisfy you, go look at maryvilles, youth program. You see hat, we have people in this county & city who cares enough to support & supply these programs, there is a passion in this county like none I've ever seen. That's why Maryville is so successful,& Alcoa, as for the tssaa, don't go throwing out your threats,& hiding behind words like we!!!! You got the guts to talk that & call other schools out, then I say back it up or shut up! I can see why schs is under your skin. Dude, relax, this game will be here & over before you know it. Go tornadoes!

After reading your posts, I am going to take an educated guess and say you are either still in high school or about thirty years old, and  still living in your mother's basement.  You know, one of those failure to launch kind of guys.

Then your education has failed you miserably, slick.

How many championships has Alcoa won? Lol don’t you think if something illegal was happening the T$$AA would have busted them by now?

I agree. So many eyes on Alcoa that they wouldn’t get away with any illegal activity. Like they say, if you build it, they will come.

Don’t bring up other sports okay then how about we just talk about football and not the rules that both schools go by open enrollment both schools have that. Let’s just talk about football end of all discussions

And Madhatter I want you to fill in the blanks for me Sir

Championships:

Alcoa ____

Upperman ____

Please fill in the above blanks and we can end this football discussion once and for all

:thumb: OMG!!! I WAS THINKING THAT SAME THING.

Totally agree. I’m sure the TSSAA looks more closely at their rosters than anyone’s. Success breeds success. Kids in towns with championship programs grow up working and wanting to be a part of it.  The next generation of champions are being trained in the pee-wee youth programs there now. You can’t argue with success. You try to recognize it and replicate it in your own program.

    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
    • He won first at maryville so he did something right
