Um, beside great kids, we've got the winningest coach in the state of tennessee, & he has a great staff, & Maryville the same with George quarrels! Not to mention the education these two schools offer. Build it sir, & they will come.

Derek Hunt is the HC at Maryville. GQ has been at Furman for the last two years.

It has to help there are two 1500 student schools nearby with very mediocre (at best) football programs.

Yes mam that's true, Mr hunt is there, but that's the house George built with that close to the same staff. George left mr hunt with a program anybody could win with for awhile. 2 years is still part of what George left behind. Taking nothing away from Mr.hunt. before you get y'alls britches in a wad over there, time will tell if he can put together a run like GQ!!!!:popcorneater:

Well if you want to get technical Hambone left GQ way more than Derek inherited. Hambone left George a defending State Championship team :popcorneater:

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
