I’m past my days of writing long posts on coacht, but this will not be a blowout. As a Patriots fan, I wanted Beech instead of Hillsboro for matchup reasons, but this will be far from a cakewalk. Looking forward to an incredible atmosphere and a game full of nothing but effort and adjustments. Two great programs.

I’d say it helps Beech. Whether it’s enough to get them to the finals is a different story. But they have to like their chances a little more if it’s wet

I'm not sure it makes that much of a difference. We put on an absolute clinic in the rain at Northeast.

I'm not sure it matters either way either.  However, Beech isn't NE.

I didn't say they were. He asked who the rain helped/hurt. It certainly hasn't hurt us when we've played in it.

I honestly believe it will help Beech from the standpoint that the HC passing game is better than Beech's.  Both teams can run the ball and have good run defenses.  I don't think it makes enough of a difference to matter.

If it rains enough that the field becomes a quagmire, it could be an equalizer, and yes, that would help Beech IMO. But anything short of that, and I don't think it makes much difference. We've played on some soggy fields this year.

Rain, wind, snow, hail, tornado, hurricane, etc. Doesn't matter to the Patriots. Usually, advantage goes to the more mentally tough team; advantage HC
