Why was this game not moved? The new Nolensville High has an artificial turf field. There had to be somewhere with a less disastrous field condition to play this game. It's time for the TSSAA to step up and get involved with late season playoffs field conditions decisions and have contingency plans ready to move a game as needed. Couple of things. TSSAA has absolutely no authority to schedule a playoff game at a school that has a turf field. Permission would have to be given to by that school with the field. So to ask or demand TSSAA do anything about field conditions is ablolutely stupid. Seondly, maybe Nolensville nor Brentwood, nor Franklin, nor Page or any other school that has a turf field was willing to help the privates out. Why would they share their facilities with a private school that shows up to middle school games at those same facilities to recruit their kids. Maybe those privates should spend a little of their recruiting budget on better fields.
