I know you are just speculating with each of those names and their supposed interest, but you make it out as if nobody with a pedigree wants to come to a program with a well known tradition of winning. To me, the fact that Crabtree and Creasy showed interest in 2011 tells me that the program could possibly land a solid coach. Crabtree atleast took a peak at the job previously in 2011, and that was the year before Beech's undefeated championship in 2012 with Jalen Hurd on the team, so he knew what he would've been leaving at that time. So with that said, who's to say the man wouldn't have any interest in it this go-around? Whether Beech has a promising 2019 season or not? I'm only saying...

Crabtree has a son at Beech who is a junior.  He went to the finals last year. Could again this year. Not going to move his son his senior year. New principal since 2011 and he has it pretty good at Beech.

Alexander would be the perfect person for the job but has a terrible taste in his mouth right now with Gallatin. He wouldn’t take it.

Wilson is a Springfield guy. His brother is the DC and a Springfield guy. Dustin is the AD and has complete and total control of the program.  The principal is wonderful to work for. They are living their dream right now. I would be shocked if he as much as entertained it.

Perry has had back to back region titles and unseated seasons. They people of MJ now love him. Principal is easy to work with. He has his staff and some very longtime friends there. Why would he leave.

Just to end all discussion of any issues with the coaches having facial hair, Coach Nathan Wilson is currently on the staff and has been named interim head coach.  I have met him, been around him several times, and I can assure you he has a full mustache and beard, and has had both ever since he was hired.  There is no issue, nor has there ever been issues with coaches having facial hair at GHS period.

You know the routine.  The potential is very high and there is a long tradition of winning.  People are now trying to nit pick every little thing because they don’t want the Green Giant to awaken.  They have been doing very well with the Green Wave status Quo but that is fixing to change and we know it!!  And they hope it won’t!  But it is!!

It shocked people last time that he would consider leaving with Hurd in the fold.  I think it also offended some knowing he was in the final list as well.  His son was in the system then too.

I made no bones about it that Creasy was the one I wanted 7 years ago because of his pedigree and the guy knew how to win.   He lived close and he did have an interest.

I was told there were several out of state candidates too and if I remember right one was highly considered.  I wonder what he is doing now?

Brent does not want the job.  I am not sure he despises Gallatin as much as anyone thinks.  He was almost the DC but the NFL called looking for a new players rep.  I am not sure he even took that job but he could not commit.  I like Brent but he is not the right guy.  There are too many hanger ons that might come with him.  And those we don’t need.

I really don’t think Perry has any desire.  He has it set up pretty good at MJ.

Some of the other names I have heard mentioned.  One from multiple sources who may have an interest.

If you are a good candidate then apply, eat some Turkey, grow some facial hair, put on your 60’s flat bottom heels, get your good ole boy supporter buddy and c’mon and join the party!!

100% Crabtree isn’t interested. He would have less interest than Perry. A lot has changed since 2011, I assure you

You really know how to downplay Alexander. He never considered the DC job and if you were told otherwise, your source was wrong or lied. It had nothing to do with not being able to commit. I’m not going to go into details about it, but A LOT would have to change for that to even be a possibility.

I bet Creasy is happy he didn’t get it...

A phonecall will be made to Crabtree anyway, I can assure you. What had Beech done before landing Crabtree? What was MJ doing before they landed Roger/Trey Perry. Nothing. They were in the same boat Gallatin is in now. To act as if all high qualified coaches are going to turn their nose up to a Gallatin head coach offer is absurd, and you know that. They have the resources for success. They have the diehard fanbase eager for winning. They have a long tradition of winning, and these last 7 years of 1 bad hire does not change that. Now I'm not saying its Perry or Crabtree. I can not speak for them, and I wouldn't make false claims saying they are, or aren't interested in this job. & Creasy stepped up Oakland's program to a totally different level. So what makes you think he wouldn't have done the same dang thing at Gallatin? I have been to enough Oakland playoff games (vs Blackman/Maryville/MJ in the past 3 years) since he took over to tell you this much: If Creasy was at Gallatin having the exact same success he is having at Oakland, He wouldve had even more fans at his games than he currently has.
