Cville players and fans must be sick given how they completely dominated for most of the game in every category.  

A 2 year run is over.  Only 3 losses.  Unfortunately 2 of them were in Cookeville 

Whitwell looked like the 4th best offense Cville had faced in the playoffs...but due to bungling by the Dawgs staff...they only needed 7 to win.  

Can you imagine Dawgs being told Whit would only score 7 total...theyd have taken it in a heartbeat.  

Cville coach was too passive.  Didnt work refs at all. I'd have gone ballistic on the phantom hold that negated the 2nd TD.  Wouldve been a totally diff game.

I mean if we’re all talking about what should’ve happened then SP would’ve beat Whitwell in the 3rd round, GB or SP would’ve been at state fully healthy and the outcome would still be a gold ball coming back east. But that’s why things don’t always go the way people think. Whitwell doesn’t quit and they won! That’s the end of it. The most explosive offense in 1A got beat by Whitwell. The best defense in 1A got beat by Whitwell. So they deserve it.

They beat TC 13-7 in ot. We won 17-9. Probably would be a good game though.

Whitwell has done what they did today last 3 games. They found a way to win! They stuck around till it mattered most. Congrats to Peabody on the Gold.

You would have gotten tossed and that would have been detrimental to your team.
