Red Rebels
I heard the Whitehaven band on TV, but I did not see or hear the cans. We're they not allowed? I read the stadium policy, which is very vague and gives discretion to the security personnel. They had 3 guys that could be a feature back that year Precious Valentine, my favorite name of all time.

Yeah I used to love seeing the reactions from the opposition when he got his first carry. Sam Bass and Tee Mayberry we're also a big part of that run game

Not sure what MJ has coming back but it wouldn't be a slam dunk Oakland seems to be in the catbirds seat for picking up great transfers like they did this year. Everyone moving in worth their salt wants to be on a winner and someone all the scouts are paying attention to.

I don't feel like kids necessarily have to transfer to get noticed now with Hudl & Social Media

Red Rebels
I remember when Oakland will filing into Floyd Stadium for the 5A game and the 4A was finishing up. I didn't really know anything about Oakland back then except they had a short drive across town to the 'Ship. My how times have changed. I know more about Oakland than I do most teams around here except for that team across the pond on the other side of the aluminum curtain. Maybe the football teams should go to band competitions and start a game on the sidelines. Instead of the TSSAA trying to add more classifications or eliminate spring practice or any other stupid idea, let's make some rules that actually make sense. I have no problem with bands playing during timeouts, between quarters and even up til the offense goes to the line of scrimmage, but playing the entire game and while play is going on is bush league.
