LoL, it reminded me of spelling Nazi’s trying to correct you while misspelling words in their own post !!  Congrats to your Oakland Patriots Ozone , they have one of the best defense’s I’ve ever seen in high school Football! Hopefully we can play again next year

If I'm not mistaken weren't they 5a which was the highest classification then?

Thanks! That defense was one of the best I’ve seen in high school football as well. I hope we play again as well, the rivalry has been really fun to watch over the past several years.

That is correct. The 1984 was in 3A and 1998 and 2008 were 5A, which as mentioned above were the highest public classifications at that time

I agree that defense dominated the Playoffs. To shut out Maryville and Whitehaven back to back was something hard to imagen! Great job, as I said earlier I think this team ranked right up there with the best teams Rutherford county has ever had!! Congrats to the team and coach Creasy!!

We had Mark Jr and Special K to bail the slaw OC out imho. This year, the player closely resembling that type of dynamic playmaking ability got hurt and the OC folded like a cheap suit.
