Hate to hear that. I remember that name on here through the years.

Yep dont make a bet on here he would take you up on it in a quick minute! He always called it like HE saw and he was a good friend. His son Jeremy won State Championship as and eighth grader in wrestling and his other boy was a stud in the 215 class and a good LB/guard on the 08 team.Jeremy played on the 11 team with my two sons you all played in playoffs. He had a few kids and will be missed for sure! Thanks for the kind words Bass!

I wasn’t aware we had anyone from Sequatchie. The Marion County RB that was hurt the entire 2018 season did transfer to SP though. Outside of him I think that’s it. you boys just do a better job of recruiting than we do. We get beat on and off the field by The U. It is what it is I guess.

Tell’em bass, line them up and let’s play! :thumb:

On a side note a GB supporter and dad to some GB star Wrestlers who were also football players Jamie Miller passed away most would know him by Maj on here.He will be missed.

I hate to hear that! Those boys have seen so much tragedy! My youngest was close with one of the younger boys before they transferred schools. There was about 6 or 7 of those boys...big family. They tragically lost their mother (murdered) several years ago and now to lose their Dad is hard to fathom. It’s moments like this you have to remember the will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you! Prayers for that family! Sad right here at Father’s Day too.

Happy Father’s Day to all you full of hot air, football loving Coach T posters! Hope you all have a blessed day!

Braden Carnes will help Greenback a lot. He isn't the athlete that Bryce Hanley was. Carnes is a very good passer. As a Rebel fan I hate to see him leave.

Pocket passers like Carnes are a dime a dozen. One dimensional football is a thing of the past. QB’s like Bryce Hanley are the future. Dual threat QB’s are a Defensive Coordinators nightmare.  Greenback will now be easier to defend this season and much less explosive.

I watched Carnes hudl videos and he is a pretty good passer, but he also had great receivers and blocking on the offensive line as well. If he has good blocking and good receivers he will do well at Greenback as well.

And just think we got him for free!

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
    • Grandma from Heaven looking down at the field to see if that gulley washer rain this past weekend sent to make a dent on that paint that some are claiming washes off of turf. Nope looks like Krylon Tough Coat.
    • I was just talking to a guy the other night about the basketball impact.
