Pocket passers like Carnes are a dime a dozen. One dimensional football is a thing of the past. QB’s like Bryce Hanley are the future. Dual threat QB’s are a Defensive Coordinators nightmare.  Greenback will now be easier to defend this season and much less explosive.

I do agree,Hanley was very hard to defend and he will be missed on both sides of the ball.Carnes has a stronger arm and will stretch the field a little, having 2 6'3 WRs and a back like Rutgerson will prove nightmares for defenses (if we can block up front).

So here we go.GB got transfers,South Pitt got transfers,LC got transfers.Coalfield has transfers coming in.....WHY are we the only ones unde the microscope??I find it hilarious.

Not the amount of transfers that seem to bother them, but the quality of the ones you are getting. If everyone got 11 players from transfers a season and 10 were bench warmers no one would notice. and I have no problem with it personally will be good to play against a better team. Now the people that may have their state championship sniped because of it seem to offer alot of negative attention. Bass comes to mind he has made his unhappiness with the topic well known in his posts lol.

I hope everyone we play thinks like you lol! I’ve seen Carnes at 2 camps just this weekend and he’s one of the smoothest, most accurate with great footwork, & solid QBs on the field. The good pocket passers are not a dime a dozen. Trust me I’ve not seen too many at these camps so a lot of those guys must rely a lot on their feet because their isn’t much too write home about in their passing. Carnes does not appear to rely on his legs because he doesn’t have to much. But he will if he needs to and won’t shy away from getting upfield yo get what he can. He’ll put it in the end zone too with his legs but not before going through his reads. He doesn’t bail out too early and his goal is to distribute to his playmakers and he has the arm and smarts to do that all day long. Great mechanics, great footwork and calm in that pocket with a very natural strong & accurate arm. If our line doesn’t give him the time to execute then our OL isn’t getting it done because we have the line to get it done! Team chemistry is off the charts. These guys are going to play hard for each other. Carnes is fitting in like a glove!

Have you had a PI sneaking around? Trust me, I know the feeling...

Play ball and may the best team win! You know how the saying goes, “On any given day, any team can win!” No guarantee that transfers guarantee wins!

I cannot speak for the rest but Lake County might get a transfer once every 5 years. Some other schools seem to get 3 to 5 a year.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
