Typical UH.  They can't handle success.  They really did show up in rain coats after people died in our flood.  They should have taken that bunch up in helicopters and thrown them out while their families watched

I was there at that game....was played at Hampton Elementary.....will never forget it

What I posted was the truth whether you admit it or not! The ones that were running there mouth came up and apologized after the game was over so if you didn’t do anything then why come and apologize.

I guess we will be adult about and agree to disagree! Don’t recall GB gentleman fan that started it apologizing! Moving on, believe what you want if it helps you cope.

Great game by UH last night. When they move the ball like they did last night they are tough to beat. They got great play off the bench. Greenback has talent in the starting 5 but the lack of a bench really hurt them last night. You could tell they really ran out of steam late into the 3rd quarter. As far as the quarrel between parents last night, it really wasn't that big of a deal. It happened right in front of us and growing up close to Memphis we saw this during warmups. Now on to play Unaka for the 4th time this season and I know it will be a dogfight.

1st, good job to UH for taking care of business..

But here's the thing. Its garbage statements like this that make people resent UH. And the thing is, its not even the players. With very few exceptions, we always got along fine with UH players, and have had friendships with them after I graduated. It's the fans/parents that were always the problem.

"Que the banjos" like Greenback folks are mentally inept, inbred hicks, and you are superior to them. The same way with showing up to Unaka in years past in tattered farm clothing and "go eat your beans and cornbread chants" trying to mock folks. And of course, who could ever forget UH fans going up to Hampton dressed in raincoats and waders right after the Doe River flood that killed a handful of Hampton residents.

Have A little class. Even IF some Greenback fans were acting like fools, coming on here and insulting their comminity with snide remarks makes you no better.

I remember one year (2010?) they chanted "ITS ALRIGHT ITS OKAY YOU'LL WORK FOR US ONE DAY" as they took their loss...And that was parents...it's funny the fantasy world some people live in Lol...And if GB was fighting in the stands, we all know they HAD to have been fighting amongst themselves if UH was the opponent :roflol:

And this is why i couldnt bring myself to go watch GB this year.I watched the UH game last year and GB had by far the best players on the court. The lack of coaching is devastating!!If you have a 6'6 athlete down low a 6'4 athlete who can handle the ball like Willis can and an outstanding point guard plus a couple kids who can come off the bench, you should be a very hard team to beat in 1A on this side of the state.I was soooo mad when i left the gym last year no offensive strategy at all just play ground ball and the coach just stands there and watches like its a tv show.If they could get a coach in here this off season next year they could cause alot problems for teams.

We should have been causing problems the past 6 years for opponents but..... There is one solution but it would take putting team/kids over self for it to happen!

It’s funny how everyone comes out of the woodwork to either defend or attack the school / team of the moment. UH hasn’t been relevant in years, but now that they are this year, everyone attacks/defends. ALL schools have had thier not so shining moments over the years, so to point out UH alone is a bit slanted. UH players have been the punching bag of Hampton, Cland and NG for the past few years and I don’t think those teams / parents like it on the other foot.

GB was out of gas at the half. It called conditioning, maybe your next coach can look it up. GB was bigger at every spot and should have had a better plan, but...that’s why they play the games. After 30 games or so, your record is your record for a reason - good or bad.

As for the “near brawl” last night in the stands. UH parents changed seats after heated exchange. GB gentleman was escorted out of gym by officer after the game. GB scorekeeper left scoring table and went into stands to chastise?? All?? Not sure about the rules on that? Looked like just some overheated parents in the first half while the game was still a game. Nothing settles everyone down like an early blowout in the 2cd half.

Ah, I really don't care either way, Just stoking the fires a bit. Heck, we ain't in the picture anyways.

I didn't just come out of the woodwork...UH is a target most years and are considered the Grace Christian of basketball around here :roflol:   Love to beat em and hate like everything to lose to em.

You are completely wrong about this! Your fans were hollering at an older lady and calling out kids names and there was not going to be a fight. The cop took two of your drunk fans out of the game so get your facts before posting anything else.

Your AD and the cop came and apologized for the way that your fans acted and the lady that set in front of my wife apologized also. So blame GB fans all you want to but it’s not the truth.

By no means am I taking up for UH but Greenback fans (older woman and man) had to be removed from the game at Cosby and heard from refs that the same two were removed from a game at Washburn. Also a younger set of parents thought it smart to go set in our student section then complain about what they heard over there?? That being said most of the GB fans I’ve been around seemed to be nice people. We all have some knuckleheads I guess.

There are over 30 thousand post between me, uknoit, and orngblk.  There's about 20 between you and the other new comers on here.  I know, I know.  Some of you all have been reading for years but never post.  Really?  My point is UH has drawn a lot of heat for years.  They're a whole lot like the HV football fanbase.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..

    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
