In my opinion, this shows how little the administration supports football. 

Coaches from other schools should be "encouraged" to move on. 

To get Antioch back on it's feet in terms of being competitive you have to have teaching spots for potential coaches.

That is one of the reasons why metro football continues to be a circus.

You think they waiting on an appeal with the tssaa? Not a good job without sanctions.

Give the new principals  at Antioch and Hillwood a chance. If they make football a priority, perhaps they will improve.

One can only hope. Not trying to be critical, but every young man should have access to a program that is run the right way. Football can improve a kid's life dramatically and it is sad to see some schools not embrace that fact.

This  will have a huge  bearing on both schools head positions

Should not make a difference to Antioch, they are not going to playoffs anyway.

But it will make it easier for a school, say located just down the  road, to  continue to draw their players away.

"Hey you come here we go deep in the playoffs. Antioch is not able to".  Just makes the recruiting that much easier.

You should know this FB247. Antioch cannot get back on its feet if another school is  taking all of its potential playmakers. Just ask Whites Creek and Hunters Lane.

I agree with what you are saying. Also glad someone else acknowledges that recruiting is destroying some programs.  Also sad that administration at school level and central office will not attempt to find a way to curb this behavior. The Tennessean newspaper had an article stating steps both schools can do to get off playoff ban. One step said a change in football coaching staffs.  Antioch has already done this.  Interesting that Overton principal was the person that mentioned this in her recommendations. Does this mean a change in head coach is coming?

Wow haven't heard that but after what their principal said in the article in the Tennessean it sounded like it was coming.
