How big is the pool of candidates? I assumed they would interview all of them if the names were only 4-6 that applied

Everyone expects them to hire from within. Outsiders probably don’t want to follow Ballard as the expectations are set high.

I think with spradlin not applying and not in the running I don’t see them hiring within nor do I think it’s a good idea

You seem to have the inside Scoop, care to mention names?  I'm guess Baugh and Hammonds are 2 out of the 4.

Hope they make a hire soon.  Wonder who knows the names of the people who are interviewing today? Or even if they are interviewing people today? Having a Greeneville Alum as the next HC would be a pretty big win for Greeneville, if they got a good one...just not sure who all is out there

I won't name any names, but two of the four are currently in Knox County.  One is a head coach, the other a coordinator.

That who i figured with HTV's hint.  Craney is a great young Defensive mind football coach and was a great player, but i don't know how the coaching staff would take it since Hammonds was his D Coordinator, Spradlen a DB coach, and Bentley the O-Line Coach when he played at Greeneville.
