I seen it reported somewhere that they opened at Powell week 1 and Boone week 2. But that might have changed. Or what I seen could be incorrect. I will try and search around And see if I can find out

It says on max prep's that they are at Boone week 2 I guess it could have been changed or something. But it still says that right now on max prep's

I take what max prep's has when it comes to scheduling with a grain of salt because anyone can post a schedule as long as you have a login.  It had AC vs Greeneville last year before the season even started (luckily AC held up there in of the bargain).  I'm not saying you are wrong but they did Interview Daniel Boones head coach in the article when they posted the schedule.

Yes you are correct about the Max prep postings. Greeneville"s color guy on the radio posted it on his Twitter account also. But that's been quite awhile ago. So something could have definitely happened to that Game. At this point I'm not sure

The Greeneville at Powell game in week one is on Thursday and will be televised.

Is there a clear cut leader in who will be the starting QB for the Devils this upcoming season?

Hurd all kinds of opinions. Not sure at this point. But I do believe they will be picking between some good options

Im picking Powell in this one ...  they will be the class  of 5A  in the State this year  ...  the coach at Powell doing some good recruiting  ... he did also before he left for Kings Academy  ... Powell has a ton  ..over 30 seniors I think and some very good players  ..so Im picking Powell ...  Devils lost too much with Ballard and the WR's  ....... and some on defense .....  thoughts from the Greeneville faithful ????

Lowe just has to make sure those kids get the correct address change so it doesn't cost them like last year.  Should be a great first season game.  Devils coming into the game on a 30 game win streak.  A lot of people outside of the Greeneville Program think after losing this past senior class that we are going to fall off the map which isn't true with the players in the program.  Expect a heavy dose of Youngblood running behind Everhart (2 division 1 players).  You will hear some new names this year like Gudger, Stevenson, Pruitt, Knuckles, and Moore (Dustin Moore's Son who was AAA Mr. Football and a TE at UT) (Gudger, Stevenson, and Moore also were part of the fasted middle school 4x100 team in TN as 8th graders).  Depending on who wins the QB battle you could see Albright (UT Commit) back there which will be another threat to run or pass.  I think a lot of people will be surprised at this years Greeneville team and that the cupboard isn't empty.

Going to be a great game. Powell will be Greeneville's tuffest test all season. Along with elizabethton

Seen again that the GHS vs Boone game is at Boone August 30th
