Looks like Shelby had some athleticism and a good passing game. Looking at that though I'm not sure their defense wants any of Greeneville's power running Game

Well looks like Greeneville is playing Powell On Rivalry Thursday 1st game of 2019.

Wow that's a great opener to replace the chicken's o sorry I mean the Indians LoL. Does anyone know how much Powell is bringing back next year

Powell brings back a large majority of it's starters/significant contributors.  They do lose a couple of quality linemen, but will be a veteran team, especially at QB, RB, and WR.  The Panthers should be a legit contender in region 3-5A and one of the better 5A teams in the Knoxville area next fall.  Matt Lowe has done a really good job in getting Powell back to respectablity in a short period of time.  

And interesting side note is that the game will be the homecoming for Greeneville DC Eddie Spradlen.  Eddie was an all region player at Powell under former coach Clark Duncan, who is now the head coach at South-Doyle.  It will be great to have Eddie back on Hayworth Field again.

Sound's like we got better competition than we could have got from DB anyway. Greeneville lost a ton of talent. But they are returning some good talent as well. So it's at Powell 2019 at GHS 2020 ?
