1st of all, what is your definition of “spread”?  That term is so generic.  Spread can mean 1000 different things in football.  You mask anything in “spread”.  I want to know your scheme......not formations.  Your name references Zone Read.  You can run zone read out of 2 tite 3 Back formations.  Be more specific.

You have some type of ‘bias’ against this Oakland team would be a more accurate statement. 

AAP he isnt biased against Oakland... Only teams who don't run 5 wide.. Running bubble to the trips with a jet/slant tag and a slant /wheel combo on the twins side, making his checks pre snap.  He can RPO to the jet or run a QB draw option because there are only 5 in the box.... And snapping the ball every 12 seconds... Because that is the end all be all offense now that wins and should be the only thing that works now... Other than that he's good!

OK guys ... zoneread is a D2 guy. To him, the top D2 teams are above and beyond any D1 team. 6A, 5A, or anything. I don't know which D2 program he supports but he's really big on BA and MBA. In his eyes no D1 programs can hold a candle to any of those programs. He's just bored and now he wants to expound his philosophy and extensive football acumen on you unsuspecting, unknowlegable D1 souls. You poor things ... you haven't really seen good football in D1. He doesn't even realize how patronizing he comes off at times, Honestly.

So ... y'all have fun with ole' zonie'. I'll just sit back and read and laugh.

KWC, you and DP1 just made the light bulb come on!! Lol. I was trying to figure out why he was so dead set on making us Oakland folk feel inferior about our Gold Ball! Crazy!

You guys will have a chance to show him a thing or two next fall!!!

Answer this then: would this yrs Oakland team have beat these recent 6A teams: 2012 maryville, Siegel, mount Juliet whitehaven

2013: Blackman, maryville, Oakland, whitehaven 

2014: ravenwood, Blackman, Oakland, Whitehaven, centennial, maryville  

The answer is no they couldn’t. If you say so you are fooling your self. There wasn’t one 6A team this year that could beat any one of those teams

Acting like you have all the answers when you have no possible way of knowing how they would fare is just as foolish. But go ahead, keep on living in fantasy land. Both of those Oakland teams you just mentioned we're just as run heavy with a defense that didn't have nearly the kind of depth that 2018 did
