Since 2000 I have seen a few good QB's get knocked out a few games and some for the season. That's actually how he got into action his sophomore year being next man up. I say that with caution because the one named the starter has had a history with injuries knock on wood. I think he will see plenty of action if he stays and I had no problem how they did last year because it did give a bunch of teams a lot of headaches. A few more minutes of playing time isn't worth turning your world upside down. I sure wish Derek would go talk to someone because I've seen him do it before and now isn't any different.

If each school had it's own show about all the stupid stuff that goes on behind the scenes they would have a hit on their hands. Never dreamed in my lifetime Maryville would get on the same track with William Blount and pass them right up for the number one spot until the season ticket brew ha ha happened.

This is a perfect example of how Maryville is run and has for years except whoever is in charge adds another couple of chapters to the never ending story. The small minority can push things all over the place while the majority set and watch in disbelief. A visiting team can come here on Friday Night and one of their fans says the black scoreboard offends me and by Monday Morning it will be laying on the ground. The sad part is most of this crap is brought onto campus by outsiders who never went there or well known to be a public pot stirring you know what. Some of the people up there could run Amazon out of business in no time flat and that is one of the biggest reasons most senior players parents never come back once their kids get out of school. They don't have a clue how to keep business but sure know how to run it off. The thoughts of what was going through somebody up there's head about the radio situation would be like Parkland High School giving Alex Jones the go ahead to call their games this year. I am so glad I didn't renew those season tickets this year and the more stupid goes on up there the better I feel about it.

I have definitely had my issues with the admin. Yes there are a couple of folks there that are not from Maryville and seem to want to do all they can to piss people off. Ive never had a problem with The Athletic side except for that fateful night in cookeville in 2012 whe gaylor and I got sideways but I had the comfort of being right and everyone from GQ on down knew it. But hey he is gone now and good riddance.

Well , there are those amoung us that could help with the problem folks that we have by voting, running or backing others that arent squeamish about confronting and dealing with the problems.  

I have had to deal with a few issues that the change agents have attempted and are attempting in the area that I help in. Mostly just parents that dont understand how things work trying to "improve." 

There are a few well placed Maryville folk inside that can move and shake when needed. They are loyal to the cause.
