I'm not in any way defending the picks as I don't like it either.   Class 1A and 2A (more so than any other class) the QB is almost always the best or one of the best athletes.    In the higher classes, the best athlete is often in the secondary, at running back, receiver...etc...   I suspect the attempt was to get the "best athletes" in the "All-State" picks as much as possible.

In my opinion, there are too many "all state" teams in general.

I have lost count of how many of these there are. Ultimately, the problem with most of these teams is that some journalist is involved that knows little to nothing about the actual game itself.

These teams almost always end up being slanted to the a certain region that they originated from.

Atleast it had Coffey from Cloudland on it. He would of started on any 1a team at RB and been just as good. Don’t know if got the respect or his due as far as 1a goes.

who gives a rats hillary...its an opinion pole...and in most sports if you ant a payin member of the coaches association u ant gettin no vote anywho.....and the more wins and higher up the food chain u finish, the more u r gettin.....

anybody no if courtney tate, hale page, bryce wallace, jade flake
