Looking for a team for my 8 year old son near West End or Bellevue. He played 3 years of t-ball, 2 season of coach pitch, and 2 seasons of pitching machine.

IMO, you should just play in a rec ball league at 8U.  Play around 30 games and allow the season to be fun up until he is about 10U and then maybe increase it to no more than 50 games in a season.  When kid pitch begins everything will start to shake out and you will know if your kids really loves the game enough to put in the time necessary to be good.

We’re new to Nashville, and I’d be all for that if we could find a league and team where he actually gets coached. We had a bad experience last year and want him to grow to be ready for player pitch. He was stuck on a coach pitch team, was bored, and never got challenged.

The Hustle Factory Select Orange 9u travel team is looking for few more players to complete our spring 2019 team. Our coaches are committed to developing each player's fundamental skills to build a solid foundation. We will be competing in multiple AA/AAA tournaments throughout Tennessee, and Alabama.

We are looking for great family’s with a motivated utility player to join our team. Pitching experience is desired but not required.

Please contact coach Rc at 615-410-8000 or Hfbaseball18@gmail.com to schedule your personal evaluation.

    • I lived through the Hammontree era with my sons. His 10 year tenure at Heritage was way too long. That is the most hard headed, egotistical man I have ever met. He ridiculed players and degraded repeatedly. He ran off some good young coaches that loved Heritage but couldn’t work for him. I do know what I’m talking about and it’s not hearsay, I lived it.
    • HVA is a dump and will never be good at football. It's a baseball school. Look at the types of homes being built and families moving in. Not football families. People will move in and look at the school and choose to play for another program. This issue has been snow balling for a decade now
    • Also no shot at an indoor facility it took ya'll almost a decade just to turf blankenship
    • You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years. Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced. Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes
