Westview needed that win bad!

When you lose a girl that has started all 4 years and has been the floor general/leader all four of those years and the leader of the team and then another girl that came along and was the other leader on the court her senior season, it may only be two players but when you factor in all aspects of the game, they took a huge hit! This team doesn’t have that clear “leader” on and off the floor that everyone can turn to and rely on to pull them through. They are still finding their identity but might peak at just the right time here at the end.

Don't know what is wrong with Westview this year. Yeah they lost some talent but if I am not mistaken their Jr. High had won state 2 or 3 times. Don't make sense.

You are correct. Their junior high actually has one of the top 8th graders in the state on it right now who is averaging 25+ this season. She’s also actually Tasia’s little sister but with more height and outside shot. She will step in next year and start right away in a guard spot and help them tremendously. Westview’s going to have a find their identity and find it fast to make a run in the postseason

So is GC brother. We are not consistent offensively. We like to press and cause TO's. Hard to press when you can't score consistently. Good win for Westview!!

I’m looking forward to watching Jada for these next 4 years... she’s a Jamirah Shutes type of kid.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
