No... most posters who had access to his previous employment records predicted it when he was hired. You wonder what he's thinking, with a returning bunch of kids who are one of a few favorites to win state.

Fan base is hard on their coaches and having a superintendent that micro manages their coach doesn’t help... I predicted this earlier in the year...

I have a couple of others in mind but I’ll withhold names for now. But Jackson would be a good choice.  Not sure where in GA. I’m not completely surprised by this based on his track record. I personally liked Wagg and thought he was a phenomenal mentor for the kids. I wish him well but it’s time to move on.

Either way TC should be fine, but I do think they lost a darn good coach IMO!

I do think he did a good job but also agree it is a tough place to be accepted.

I heard Dr. Satterfield was in the box calling plays at the end of the season and all the way to Cookeville. So I would think the first chance to leave was a good opportunity for him. Good thing he didn't use the gas card.
