I have a big decision to make after the hiring of this coach hope it's the right hire. If not gotta do what's best for my kid.

He's gonna have a great year next fall no matter what position he's playing. Sure would hate to see him leave. So much talent still on that team. 2019 will be his year to shine!! I see him being the main go to guy.

He's a great kid with a promising future.

I have a strong feeling that you are wrong. I could be wrong been wrong before. Last time I talked to him he had no interest in high school ball.

I could be wrong and you could be right. I really don't know just a feeling I have but I think he will be offered the job I don't know if he wants it or if he doesn't want the job.

Sorry bud..... As bad as you want it to happen, he has his eyes set on a higher level!

I don't care who it is as long as it is a good coach and a good man. I just want it to be someone that will still be the coach after two years. I'm sure he does but most college coaching staffs have been filled and it never seems to work out for him at college jobs. I think he would be a great HC in high school level.

What if it is a former/current TC coach with no offensive play calling experience?

FBI my man whats the latest ?

IMO Dyer will be the front-runner unless BS or DC apply! Honestly I think one of those will if not both!

Never know though! have been wrong the last two coaching searches

I think it will be an offensive coach the defense doesn't need to be changed. Blake is doing a great job with the defense. The reason we made it to Blue Cross bowl was that of how great the defense played in the playoffs.

I don't think Davy wants a headache of being the HC I really don't think he even wants to come back next year and coach. Blake doesn't want to be the head coach.

It took both sides working well. You outscored Meigs in the semifinals. Offense won that game. Defense won your H2O game.

    • The only thing that was said at half time of the 45-0 game was Coach Story, he said: "I know y'all have been out there a lot, but kick-off team, y'all need to get down there faster!" Then he and the other coaches proceeded to go into the coaches office and we all went nuts!  It was the only time I can ever remember coaches not saying anything at half time. Definitely a great memory!!!
    • Boyd could actually be a grade below what he is now, but his parents didn't see the need to "redshirt" him like the other city school down the road would have pushed for....

    • Who invited the First Family of Hartsville?
    • When Danny was a senior he was the quarterback on the 82 team and also the placeholder on extra points. At the end of the game Heritage scored a touchdown with very little time left and went ahead 9-0. On the following extra point Danny rose up and threw a perfect pass to one of his receivers which made it 11-0 and Heritage's first win against Maryville since the series started in 77. Maryville fans were highly ticked off because they felt like it was rubbing salt in the wound. The following year when both teams met again at Maryville  the Rebels ran away with the game and after the first couple of touchdowns they went for two points after each score for a pay back and the score was 45-0 at halftime. The following Monday Bob Gilbert the sports eiditor for the local paper bashed Maryville in an article called the Humilation of Teenagers and tore into Maryville even though he was a graduate of the school. Those were the good ole days when Heritage had decent teams and the rivalry between them and Maryville was a fun event to see.
