District 14 results

Round 1:

Independence 44 over #12 Brentwood 28

#11 Centennial 63 over Page 12

District FInals:

Centennial 40 Independence 39 (Centennial forfeited the last 4 weight Classes)

Now I've gotten in trouble in the past speculating but I'll go ahead and risk it again here. I don't know who moves on from District 13 but based off Results from Track I am just making an educated guess. The matchups for the Region 7 Championships should look like this

Round 1:

Centennial vs Antioch

Independence vs Overton

with the two winners making the trip to the cow palace next weekend.

Pelky has done an outstanding job with his group of kids and has them ready to make some serious noise and if I know one thing about Jared Grindstaff its that no matter what happens early in the season he always has his squad ready come late January and into February. Both teams are top notch this year and could make deep runs at state. But both have to get through the District 13 champs and runners up before they can punch their tickets.

I haven't been around, but keep up. The top 2 from Metro district are Overton and McGavock. The scores weren't posted but McGavock beat Antioch.

Are they not doing top 3 teams from each district anymore? Why did that get voted out?

Congrats to Pelkey, he has been doing a great job at Centennial. Not being any type of way,  but neither of the Metro schools will have a shot. Giving up forfeits is #1 downfall, then Indy and Centennial are far better. Good luck to everyone
