Here is a team list and ranked wrestlers for this weekend as Cane Ridge hosts the Region 7 Individual tournament. Who do you have? Who will make some noise? Who are the sleepers?

I think a lot of this year's region will be more set in stone than last. I forget which team it was whether it was in region or not, but I think Coffee had a close match at the Indy tournament. I think 38 and 45 are easy locks for the expected, and if Jacob Knight goes 195 he will beat Franklin.

Coffee had a close match against a kid from Nolensville at Indy. Sadly that kids is A/AA so we won't be seeing that again. Coffee has pinned about every other kid in the state in the first period including those who are ranked. I will also say a lot of this tourney will have some snoozefest weight classes as the one stud kicks everyone around, but I know some weight classes have 4 or 5 good wrestlers in them like 138 or 120 so look for excitement there in the placement matches.

Once seeds are released we could have a better guess at who could finish high next weekend. With kids moving around and others coming in it'll be hard to predict until we see it. I know Summit has a few kids that were in the lineup early who wont be this weekend. We'll see how other teams shake it up too.

I agree I think 138 has some good kids in there so some good wrestlers won't make it to state, however I don't see any of the scoring more than maybe an escape point against Franklin

Indy has a number of strong wrestlers in lower classes.  Ables, Dooley, Klingensmith, Parcell and Coffey are fairly legit.  Centennial has several in higher weight.  Not sure about Don Johnson at Spring Hill but he had a decent year too.   Knight would do well at 195, Parcell pinned him at Cenntenial.

Oh for sure Dooley wins big I just meant there were gonna be other good matches between the other kids.

I know it starts today just don’t see why the deadlines are not set the same for each region if they are happening on the same day.

I was told the information will be released to the public shortly before wrestling starts.
