Wayne County/Huntingdon and West Carroll/ Summertown both play each other in both girls and boys. I could see where it would save the traveling teams transportation money if taking a bus. The home team would actually lose money because of gate as well, not sure if they will adjust the entrance fee for this.

I am not sure if they will adjust ticket price. At our girls game Friday  attendance will be lower because we have had a historically bad girls team. But since we lost Dresden and Gleason to District 13 two years ago , the lady rebels have seen more success on the court. The fan base for our girls is slowly growing but not fast enough. On the other hand everybody and there momma will be at the boys game on Saturday. More people from the community and surrounding areas will come to see our boys, because we have had good teams for the 7 years.  I am not downplaying or talking bad about the girls or guys but there is a big difference in attendance when just our girls play. Last year when our girls played Perry County at home, there was a lot of open seats in our home stands, but when our boys played it was standing room only.

McKenzie beat Perry County pretty good, margin of the score could have been worse. Heard there was a nail biter in Huntingdon between the mustangs and Wayne County. @Croppygenius Did you go to the game?

Mustangs played well last night. Wayne Co brought a good crowd and a good ball team. #21 is an outstanding player. Mustangs are a pretty good team to not have a kid over 6'. Proud of our kids they've worked very hard and deserve a little success.

We started the game really shaky, turning the ball over and missing some layups. We played much better in the second half. Perry County was a tall team and had a lot of shooters. Got to have a better start to the game if we want to win Tuesday.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
