TheAmbassador
They won’t be horrible, but nothing like they have been. Lake Co and Huntingdon should be the two best in the west this season with senior loaded teams.

Cville has learned how to win "most" close games, that goes along way. They will be a good team for sure.HHS and LC will be the teams in the Semis in my opinion but i in no way would be surprised to see an upset. When a 1A team loses a huge senior class. The next year should be a drop off 99% of the time. That’s just the way it is in 1A. Or at least that’s the way it is for us at SP. When we lose a large, talented senior class we usually drop off the next season. Small enrollment numbers will do that to a program.
RocketHouse
Instead of being one of the top teams in all of 1A they will be battling to be one of the top teams in their region next year.

Yes i expect a drop off. They have very good coaching and a good base so they will still be a "good" team.I dont expect a finals run unless something very unexpected happens or if tge find that Whitwell magic clover.lol

Losing a huge senior class is a drop off for every team except Huntington... Weird how that works

Weird how that works They have a huge school with a bunch of great athletes for 1A standards so that definitely helps them.

Jobres76
As a Cornersville parent, I agree that there will be some drop off, but don't underestimate them either. There is a ton of talent that has been standing on the sidelines for the last couple of seasons. Those guys that had to go against those seniors every day in practice now get their shot to see what they can do in starting roles. Think about this...they have gone against the 2nd(man that hurts to say) best team in the state for 2 years. Not only were they pushing those guys to be better, they were getting better themselves. Time will tell where it all ends up, but I believe they will be better than people think, only because people don't know what is there.
