I noticed he hasn't been throwing district games and I figured he would be the #1. Should be the #1 when healthy. We sure could have used him against Riverside in game 1, but as critical as it is to seeding in regular season in the district, end of season is more important. The kid who started game 1 (Riverside) didn't look bad, but they're a good hitting squad, and just throwing over/off the plate won't get many victories against them. If our "bottom" two or three arms can fill in a few gaps and the top three stay on track, we just might be pretty good at the end.

I've got a couple dudes on the west side of state I really like but NEED more contacts. Reach out about the good guys. Especially 2019 & solid 2020's right now Heisman Austin at Scotts Hill is coming to Roane State for me next year. I want more contacts. If yall got dudes who you believe are just right on the cusp of being D1 guys or are tough junkyard dog type players let me know. (615)6133367 Also I got 3 guys Will Parrish, Rick Conroy, Wesley Bomar.....All over at Henry County which I know is just barely out of that Middle Tennessee Zone but let me know what you got on 'em. I feel like they all could be Roane State Raiders next year and come open themselves to big opportunities after. I want 'em but need them to want to make that drive across the state for 2 years to be successful and make big time stories for 'em. S. Martin at Riverside would be a good place to start if he's not on your radar.Good kid, good glove, some speed, and hits for average with some pop... doesn't really have any weaknesses, and will add to any program off the field as well. LetMeHearYA
Week 4 Schedule Series of the week Scotts Hill (5-1) vs Lexington (5-1) The county rivalry has a big impact on the district this week. A sweep by either team will put them in the driver's seat of the district. Scotts Hill has already played and split with Riverside, so a sweep means they are playing teams positioned 4 and below the rest of the way. For Lexington, a sweep here gives them sweeps over Scotts Hill, McNairy, and Northside. It would put them in the spot of taking care of business against Riverside and locking the 1 spot up. Rest of the Schedule Riverside (5-1) vs McNairy (3-3) Northside (3-3) vs Adamsville (0-6) Chester (2-4) vs Southside (1-5)

Pitching has to get better to make a deep run. 1-2-3 are solid but not spectacular, after that we're not consistent enough to play four or five in a week and win. Lexington scored two runs in the first five, then six in the sixth off of three different relievers. The thing is, our bullpen doesn't have to improve, just be as good as they can be consistently. Tonight three good pitchers had a "bad night" when we could least afford it, and all three have shown that they can pitch well when they're "on".
