Volsfan2000
Alright should be a good game both teams will have to play a solid game to win who you got and why Edited February 26, 2019 by Volsfan2000
87vikingalumni
I’m going to go with Humboldt by 6, I think they’ll be ready to play after that District Championship game lost! Also, Anthony Jones will stay out of foul trouble and be a deciding factor of game! Trenton played a great game not taking nothing away from them but with Anthony Jones sitting out almost 2 quarters & really didn’t have a impact on game! Even though, Anthony Jones missed a lot of game due to foul trouble Humboldt still had chances to win hopefully Coach Abnernathy will have them prepared!! dmm88
It's a huge game because the loser is most likely going to Manassas. With that said, I'll take Humboldt IF Jones stays on the floor. If not, Peabody takes it.
rebelman101
This is coin toss IMO. I will take Humboldt if they stay out of foul trouble. If Peabody attacks the basket and not settle for jumpers, then they have a good chance to win.

Humboldt has enough quickness & speed to play a match up man zone to protect the middle & make Trenton score over top of defense! Trenton scored a majority of their points off layups but Coach Abernathy is not going to change from man defense which will be Vikings down fall! Also, if I was Humboldt I would attack the paint all night on offense, Jones would have 30 attempts down low! I have only seen these two play 4 games so I am just stating on what I see when they play. Yall might have to switch up defenses in order to keep the Golden Tide on their toes. ManOfMillions
Just a quick shout out to Gibson county! We have 3 teams STILL playing ball this late into the season! I am an absolute homer when it comes to where I am from. I wish all of our Gibson county schools success going forward in the tournaments,

I agree, Trenton strength is their guards ability to penetrate & get to the basketball! I would make them a jump shooting team & have to score over a match up man zone protecting the rim with Jones! Hard to beat a team 4 times!!!
FightingBlue0
This should be a great ball game tonight. I’m estatic to see Humboldt & Peabody playing competitive games against one another. I think it always benefits both schools when their programs are good when they meet. I wish Humboldt football was that way like it had been for years under Coach Bland. I hope Peabody pulls this off but I don’t see them overcoming Humboldt again considering the circumstances of the last game. Good luck to both teams. It’d be nice to see Peabody & Humboldt both play in the state tournament with both teams having Mr. Basketball finalists.
