CoachHolly7
Player makes a FT. Hits the backboard on the second attempt --SO it is still a dead ball. CAN the other team when inbounding the ball run the baseline?

You can only run the baseline on a made shot, and the 2nd free throw wasn't made. I am guessing that they needed to miss and get a rebound in this situation. CAN the other team when inbounding the ball run the baseline? Believing the answer is no. Dead ball baseline out of bounds no movement. BUTTTTT.......will depend on who is calling the game in most cases I have found.
ReignofPurple
I am an official and the answer is no. Like Big Orange Baller said, you can only run baseline after a made basket
crazzyness
Seems kind of redundant to say again, but the free throw not drawing iron is a violation, therefore the throw-in must be administered on a spot on the baseline.
