TCA knocks off Peabody to advance to region tournament. Then they knock off Gibson County TWICE to claim the 14A District Championship tonight.

TCA is loaded with pitchers that is for sure. GC made too many errors tonight and TCA came to play. GC has to shake that off and get their focus on. Hopefully the two good players they have hurt will get healthy by Region. Fingers are crossed. Congrats to TCA. Very good team even though their coach stays on the field after every call begging and crying for calls. Needs to let the umpires call the game and quit begging and whining.

I am Sure if y’all would have won 1 of the 2 games those comments would have never been said. But hey good luck the rest of the way.

We didn't play well and got beat. TCA is a good team and may be the best team in the state. Next time you watch a tournament count how many times he goes out and talks to umpires and delays games. Not just ours. Peabody as well. He is a good coach obviously. Very fundamental team, but he is a begger.

Oh and no GC coach has EVER "Begged" for a call. Your girls basketball coach is world class when it comes to "BEGGING" for calls. Pot meet kettle.

I guess GC coach should have been on the field begging for calls tonight. It seems to work.

Bwaaaaaa

We didn't have to beg for calls to beat TCA. One of your own referees tried to give you the game at TCA and still couldn't do it with a silly technical foul. Baseball coach stays on the field more than the umpires. I never see our basketball coach running out on the floor begging refs.

    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
