I really dislike everything about CA, but thank you to them Dawgs for shutting up Loretto. I do believe CA has what it takes to finally get a gold ball. Carson Cary is the real deal.

Carson Cary's mom and dad graduated from Union City so I'm good with him winning it all … I'll be pulling for them and Humboldt …

I agree with you. I think Fayetteville will lose to Clay County by double digits for sure. Here are my predictions:

University High over Harriman (close though)

Cosby over Oneida

Clay County over Fayetteville (pretty big, 12-20 points)

Eagleville over Monterey

Columbia Academy over Loretto (close game)

McKenzie over East Robertson

Humboldt over MAHS

Manassas over Peabody (closer than most think)

And this ^^^^

Hats off to Fayetteville they earned this win. They were the better team tonight.

Yes. I didn't think Fayetteville would have a chance against Clay County. I picked them to win by 15-20+ points. Fayetteville was in it the whole game & ended up the winner. I think this is their 1st ever trip to the state tourney in girl's basketball & maybe in basketball period (boy's & girl's).

Excuse me for calling you out tonybologny but this is boy's basketball.  Our girls are still working on getting better each year.  But you are correct in saying this is our first time to reach this stage.

Your a biased joke!!!!!!!! HB did not get help from the refs both teams were low on fouls the whole game i think mahs had one guy with 4 fouls other than that it was called evenly. I mean the call at the end of the game that was called a block was obviously a charge if anything mahs got the help out. I don't message on this much just read but I have to say this quit trying to take credit from a team that just outplayed the other team. What an idiot!

Even doesn't mean fair! Officials let a lot of traveling violations and fouls go without calling them on HB!

    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
