Correct me if I'm incorrect, but I believe Westview's All State guard Jones blew out her knee in the 1st quarter of the 1st game of the tourney last year and then their center tweaked a knee in your game. You may be correct, but those injuries probably played a role in that matchup. Watching WV and Jackson South Side, I'd say it'd take a mighty great effort to be quicker and more aggressive than Jackson SS. If their #1 guard hadn't blown her knee out against WV, Jackson SS would've made the tourney and they were very fast & physical. Hopefully, both Macon & Westview will make it to Saturday. I think it'd be a great game.

You recall correctly. Westview lost to Macon in the semis last year without their best two players much of the game.

Parents and Fans. I understand that you are all die hard fans and cheer for your team. It absolutely blows my mind that any person on here would ever call a player out saying they aren't that good. And several times using their name when you do that. They are still kids. They dont get payed!! Im sure they read these threads. Just keep that in mind when you call a player out. Absolutely ridiculous in my humble opinion.

I feel very certain that Macon Co is not as quick and athletic as Jackson Southside which Westview played in regional championship nor Memphis Mitchell which Westview played in substate. Those two teams were about as quick and athletic as I have seen! Westview is pretty good at controlling the tempo of the game with their defense. Guess we will see what Friday brings first and then see if we will get to see the matchup on Saturday

If this matchup happens, I agree if the tall girl gets going and Macon does not defend her on the inside this could be an issue that will cost them some points. She did look like she got tired quickly and if Macon gets their running game going she will probably get into foul trouble. Also South Greene pressed them a little and they did not respond well, so if that works it will not be an issue. However Macon has Cheatham Co. and Westview has Marshall Co. to worry about first. I cannot tell you about Westview, but Macon is focused on Cheatham Co. right now, not Westview or Marshall.
