Question for Coaches and ADs'. We are a private school starting a Middle school football program and soon a High school program. We are trying to get the more expensive equipment, like blocking sleds and chutes ,etc., used to save money. We have found many not being used that other schools said they would donate to us, BUT they are public schools they said they can't.

What can be done? Who can we call to buy them so they don't just trust in fields?  Any help would be great.

Did you call Grider and see where he got our boys equipment? Grider does not have a chute for our boys. He makes our runners chase chickens to get real fast and trains our hole nockers to do side body blocks.  All Grider had is a goal post and he better not sell it for $1.  You think im joking but im not.

Grider also makes all the boys in school wear ankle weights so if they decide to play football they will already be real fast.  Ankle weights are real cheap to.  Tell your coach to make sure and fill out his survey for my Murphy Fair book when he gets a varsity team. You think im joking but im not.

I hope one of the boys is nice enough to get Grider an ICE PACK...geeez...I don't see how the man would be able to sat down without one.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
