Black is usually a safe bet to look good.

Being biased myself (my team wears black and gold) I'd generally have to agree with this statement, but it isn't a sure thing. We got new uni's  two years ago that don't look nearly as good as the previous ones. Adamsville did the same as Waverly... went from scarlet jerseys and silver hats to black on black with red. When I saw a pic of the black helmet with red graphics I thought it was the coolest thing ever, but on the field, I liked the red and silver much better.

Waverly 20 GC 14.   That’s what it was when they took starters out and I left anyway.  GC had one TD called back.

Not sure any of our extra points went through the up rights lol. I'm sure that'll be addressed this week. Saw good things out of both teams and areas that need work. Was a good scrimmage and a great night to lay out of work.

    • Yea, they have Davey quaking in his boots. Someday they'll even have a winning season.
    • Guessing this may have been the closest I can think of...... Bill Harlow: (from wiki) After leaving OSU, Harlow went on to win three national titles in freestyle wrestling.  He won a silver medal at the 1970 World Wrestling Championships, falling to Soviet Gennady Strakhov in the finals at 90 kg.
    • The Simpson brothers had good freestyle careers.

    • Maybe some of the historians can get on here and help me out, but has anybody from Tennessee ever had as much success in an international style as Boykin? The only other Tennessee native I can remember competing for world team spots is the older Boykin in freestyle and he wasn't nearly as close as Nick has been to making world teams.
