McMinn Starts Spring Practice on May 7 - 18. Believe they may scrimmage Polk and one other team (not announced).

McMinn actually went away from the Wing-T, to more of a spread / read option last year. Didn't run the system to its capability and overused their homerun threat at RB, making more one dimensional. They do have athletes out wide, which weren't used much, a very smart QB with a fairly strong arm, a very multiple backfield with a strong, hard, powerful runner and a quick shifty back also. These two could complement each other if used properly, of course the O-line would need to improve GREATLY from last season. And do what the spread is supposed to do, get your athletes the ball in space and let them make plays, while you establish the run. The pieces are there...

Utilization and optimization of their talent is what is needed to get from 4-6 to possibly 7-3.

These dudes could be 7-3 or 2-8 quick like....Their line is big and physical, the play calling or lack there is a huge issue.  Def is gonna be the same as it has for...well at least 10 years. They have big linemen and a true full back, will they use them to their potential, no. they will try to run with the q too much and eventually they will try to swap offense like they did last year.  so i hope they do well....will they? only the season will tell. BTW if they lose to central they go 0 fer
