Why does that blow your mind? Huntingdon ain’t third the size of Union City and they where 1a for years

Not trying to be argumentative, but you have to agree with his position. If you're going to use a comparison with another school,  Scotts Hill is 2AA football, and there's practically no "town" there around it, just as West Carroll and most 1A programs. Not accusing or speculating anything, but I do find it odd the disparity of size of some communities and their school enrollment.

Look at all the towns and communities that west Carroll pulls from. Atwood Mcley cedar grove trezvant. I hear Scott’s hill is getting kids from Lexington.

If South Pitt don't have turf it's not better, Grass is nice when its warm weather but when the cold rainy conditions of playoff season arrives a turf field is so much better,

I would like to disagree but Peabody has one of the best "facilities" around but after the rainy fall season last year come playoffs the field was horrid!!!!

Most of the ones we visit are average. But a few stand out.

Good

1. Watertown. Looks like you are arriving at an Ivy League campus as you approach. Big and spacious, the school is nice too.

2. Lewis Co. Sort of old fashioned but the field and stands themselves are enclosed and well-kept. Feels like an old school 1950s environment. Great color scheme thruout.

3. CA. Like visiting a small college.

Bad

1. Summertown. Parking is in a field with waist high grass. When you walk up it looks like you are approaching a rugby game. No markings on field and it's diagonal to the parking. Very odd looking. Watch from your flatbed or sit with home fans. Those are your options.

2. Westmoreland. Atmosphere resembles an illegal dog-fighting basement. Fans yell over every single play, something wrong was done to Westy. You're happy to escape unscathed, if you can make it.

3. Huntland. 45 min out, your cell signal dies. 30 min out the roads turn to gravel/dirt. The stadium is opposite a banked hill. The entire place feels like it is from the 1600s.  Makes the Salem Witch Trials look like Google Headquarters.

Dis-Honorable mention.

4. Jackson Co. Get off at Cookeville exit and drive so far north you enter the Mesozoic Era. Field looks like a green and brown chocolate sundae. Filthy.

5. Waverly. Like watching kids play in the mud after a Tractor Pull. Your jeans will have mud knee high no matter how careful you are.

You clearly don't know.   Plus, what do you think turf is?  What do you think UT uses?

The facilities that I have been at, Hickman Co. has got to be up there. Our visitor side is plenty big if not the biggest in this area.  The whole campus (Gym, Baseball, Softball, and Soccer Fields) is top notch in my opinion and plus plenty of parking. Lewis county is up there also. Definitely the best field if they would just keep that sprinkler off of it before games :roflol:.   The worse has to be Waverly. Its ridiculous how terrible that stadium is with all the past few years of success that school has had that they couldn't improve them. The baseball and softball fields are setting on a swamp.
