I imagine it’s about the same. It’s a ways from the field but when we played them there during regular season there was a breeze and the field smelled bad

Go watch a game at Dresden  it reeks there

The stench at Huntingdung games is far worse. The cheerleaders never bathe and they dried tobacco juice in their beards.....

I thought they made the cheerleaders shave. Maybe it was just for the playoffs. Anyway ole CB10 picked up a few over there last year. He showed them his corn dog and they grabbed up a bottle of mustard and followed him home.

No place like the Creekbank in Trousdale except when it floods!

Worst field is Pickett County. Poor guys have to play on a baseball field. There are no real bleachers on the visitors side.  There are no lights at one end of the field. Fans from there sit up on the hill at the school and watch instead of paying to come in! I admire the players who stick it out all season.

We went there for a game a few years ago, we arrive, and the Coach walks up to us, as always we introduce ourselves and ask where will we be setting up? His response has yet to be beat, "I guess y'all can stand on the first base dugout." Lol needless to say we called the game from about 50-75 yards away in the baseball announcing booth with speakers blasting in the same room.

The nicest stadiums/venues i've been to: Oneida, South Pitt, Hampton, Huntingdon. The nicest we have played on was Knox Grace Christian Academy absolutely gorgeous. The worst for me would be Pickett (horrible playing conditions), Marion County (fans harassing players as their seasons/careers end), and last was the old Watertown stadium (horrible bow in midfield, new one is much improved, stands and look one of best around but playing surface is not as nice as some say).

Old Watertown was very unsafe for players.

Our (Greenback) field grass rivals anyone thats not plastic.

SP has a awesome place for football with nice facilities.

Huntingdon on film looks like a college field.

Trousdale is up there also.

Oneida my second favorite place to watch a game other than GB!

Worst-Hancock their first year was the worst i had ever seen dry it may be better now.

Cloudland is the worst i have seen in the last 5 years HANDS DOWN.When its wet down all night before your game its even worse!

Sunbright is rough

Wartburg i agree with helmet they let the goats eat it because they dont have a mower!

Oneida is getting some renovations before this upcoming season. All new lights have been put up and a new scoreboard is going up in the opposite end of the field.

Jasper fans (Marion County) were rocking the Ambulance just before half time when Eddie Moore left the game with an I.V. just before halftime.  That was his junior year.  They paid for that with interest the next year (1998).  Lets just say he ran over some guys on offense and tackled some people on defense.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
